Professor Quassim Cassam

career

Quassim Cassam is Professor of Philosophy at the University of Warwick, UK.   His first job in Philosophy was at Oxford University, where he taught from 1986-2004. During this time he was a Fellow of Wadham College, Oxford. Oxford is also where he did his undergraduate degree (in Philosophy, Politics and Economics) and D. Phil.  

From Oxford Quassim went on to be Professor of Philosophy at University College London, and then Knightbridge Professor of Philosophy at Cambridge University. He moved from Cambridge to Warwick in 2009.
